Hello, my name is Emma. I’m a registered midwife with over 25 years of experience working in the NHS. During this time I have worked in a busy hospital-based maternity unit and also in a stand-alone midwife-led birth centre as well as running a busy antenatal clinic in a local GP practice and providing postnatal care and feeding support to new mums. As a midwife I have a real passion for enabling women to have a positive and empowering experience of pregnancy and childbirth. 

I also appreciate that you need time to discuss your thoughts, feelings and fears during your pregnancy with a supportive and experienced midwife in order that you can be fully prepared for this amazing life journey and to give you the confidence in your body that it is possible for childbirth to be a positive experience.

To enhance your journey through this natural life event I offer a range of complementary therapies such as aromatherapy, massage, reflexology and accupressure to provide a holistic approach to health in pregnancy and provide a safe alternative to the conventional care usually offered by the NHS.

I have completed a Diploma in Midwifery Complementary Therapies with Expectancy Ltd and, combined with my experience as a qualified midwife, I am able to offer individualised treatment packages for many common pregnancy conditions that you may experience such as;
